Whether you are interested in a specific online program or just a single online course, all students taking online courses at Iowa State University must first be officially admitted to the University.

Tuition and Fees

All students taking courses online through Engineering Online Learning are assessed tuition, a delivery fee, and a technology fee.

Delivery Fee Refund Schedule

Tuition and fees are charged to all students taking online courses. If you must drop a course or withdraw, the amount you are still responsible for will depend on a few key factors.

Late Add & Drop Policy

Students taking online Graduate or Undergraduate courses offered through Engineering must petition to their college for this period/late adds and drops.

Online Testing Center for Students

Online courses may require a proctor to assist you with taking and submitting exams. This helps to maintain the academic integrity of our online courses and programs. Our Online Testing Center coordinates the approval of appropriate proctors and delivery and submission of exams.
